Hansel and Gretel find Strength as Siblings

Do you know the story of Hansel and Gretel? Admittedly my memory is tainted of the story and the quick 5-minute video was my interpretation of what I believe happened. However, through the focus on strengths and talents.

Connecting our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to skills and knowledge tend to get us out of the woods, ten to build our strengths. Fairy tales and stories of the past were a great metaphor of everyday society.

Would you believe in this day and husband or wife could convince their partner to leave their children out in the woods to fend for themselves?

You better bet yourself, we do it every day.

Although we have the opportunity to allow our talents to lead us down the path of life. Society will place gingerbread houses in front of our eyes to influence us to come inside. However, it’s with our strength that we break through our cages of imprisonment, to fend away from the blind, old hags. To develop our talents into strengths, to focus on what we do well. To accept ourselves, so others will accept us for who we are.

For we are our own Hansel or Gretel. The question is, will you find your way out of the woods?
